Student graduation information
Applying to Graduate - to start the graduation process, students must complete the online application to graduate.
Walk Through Petition - For students who wish to participate in the department graduation ceremony, but will NOT have their degree conferred in spring quarter, please submit your completed walk through petition by June 7, 2024. You can check to see if you can walk at commencement here.
Spring quarter degree conferral - the application to graduate will open on Axess, March 6, 2024 and the deadline to submit the application to graduate is April 12, 2024 (5 p.m.) . Late applications to graduate spring quarter will be accepted ($50 fee) until June 7, 2024 (5 p.m.).
Commencement Regalia - The Stanford Bookstore offers rental gowns and hoods* (caps will be purchased by the graduates) and other Commencement items.
