Location: East Oval Grove

No tickets are required to attend the department graduation ceremony. Tickets are required to attend the main commencement ceremony.

Commencement for the 2024-25 academic year will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

*Tickets are required to attend the Main University Commencement Ceremony.

To start the graduation process, students must complete the online application to graduate.
The spring quarter degree conferral application will open in Axess on March 6, 2025.
The deadline to apply to graduate is April 11, 2025 (5 p.m.)
Late applications to graduate spring quarter will be accepted ($50 fee) until June 6, 2025 (5 p.m.).

University Commencement Ceremony: Check to see if you can walk at the Ceremony.
Department Graduation Ceremony: Students who wish to participate in the department graduation ceremony, but will NOT have their degree conferred in spring quarter, please submit your completed walkthrough petition by May 1, 2025.

Commencement Regalia: The Stanford Bookstore offers rental gowns and hoods (caps will be purchased by the graduates), along with other Commencement items.
