The Department of Sociology at Stanford University recognizes that “business as usual” scholarship and teaching is not good enough in these trying times. We need your help to realize our expansive mission: To understand the key social problems of our time, build a basic and applied science that can help to take them on, and train the next generation of students who can help realize the high promise of social science. A gift to our department can support this mission by setting up new research programs, new teaching programs, and new fellowships for students in training.
