Patricia Jacobus

Patricia holds a hybrid position of student services officer and administrative assistant for the Department of Sociology and Program on Urban Studies. As a student services officer, she works directly with students enrolled in the co-terminal master's program. Patricia is a former journalist who covered stories about law, crime, urban planning,  business and technology for a variety of news organizations such as The San Francisco Chronicle, Oakland Tribune and CNET News. A dual native of the San Francisco Bay Area and Naples, Italy, Patricia earned her BA from the University of California, Berkeley in Political Science.
