Postdoctoral Fellow

Caitlin is a postdoctoral fellow in the Economic Inclusion Lab at the Center on Poverty and Inequality at Stanford University. She is broadly interested in applying causal inference techniques to survey data to understand socioeconomic inequality and social stratification processes. Her research has focused on educational attainment, the returns to higher education, and how school policies address existing disparities. Her dissertation explored how college enrollment decisions in late adolescence shape socioeconomic and family outcomes in adulthood. At Stanford, Caitlin is involved with projects studying the implications of cash transfer policies, such as guaranteed income, on the outcomes of individuals and their families.P
