Apollo Rydzik (He/Him/His) is a M.A. graduate in the Sociology Department. He attended Foothill Community College, where he earned his A.A. in Sociology before transferring to Stanford and receiving his B.A. with honors in Sociology. Apollo is currently a Graduate Public Service Fellow at the Stanford Haas Center, a Junior Fellow at the Center for Applied Transgender Studies, and a National Science Foundation Graduate Fellow.
Apollo is passionate about using Sociology to further transgender rights through an intersectional, community-based framework. He has a background in (im)migration, race and ethnicity, and gender, and has received training in both qualitative and quantitative methods.
